Location Pic For Mink here's a location om my line that has produced lots of coon and mink at the corner of the bridge. there is a narrow land strip on both sides. now for coon set a 1 1/2 coil spring right on the point. smear a little fish oil on the wall of the bridge. this set up needs to be gang set up.i n this location i set out four sets at all four corners of bridge. for mink you can do the same .if after mink only set a 110 conibear ar the very point or corner of bridge. do all four points.don't use lure here for mink to prevent coon catches

mink blind set I would place me a 110 conibear and wire the trigger wire together and between the two pieces of grass.to stabilize it. i would take a red brick and stand it up or lay a limb against the wall in a slant and place the trap under the limb. this bridge has for sets just like the picture.

Blind set for Mink The first pic is of a high bank that is undercut all the way to the corner of stream. There is alot of coon, and mink sign right across the rock crossing. The second pic shows where i have crossed the rock crossing and began setting blocking stone to force the animals thru this opening. And i place a northwoods 1.5 at the center of the blocking. The trap is submerged all except the pan. This will be their stepping stone so to speak. The 3rd pic shows were i have added even more rocks to the blocking. Further narrowing down the trail. The limb is added to the top of the blocking to force them down. The 4th pic shows where i have backed away to get a view of the set from a different angle. I hope this will ad another good set to your trapping line. This set up will catch mink and coon. Thanks for looking.
