Picking a cat lure
here is how i pick my lures.first i decide on what type of sets i want and then the time of season.
for the rubbing post or leaning post i prefer a good heavy castor lure like straight castor with a few drops of tonka bean extract,or dobbins back breaker. i use these sets and lure all season.
as a back up set like the flat set or a big hole set .i want a really musky type of lure.i use this set in the fall and mid winter.
after dec ,i still use the two sets but i then switch lures and use a good cat gland lure like o'gormans cat passion.
note if i could only have two lures on cats i would goe with a heavy castor lure and a good musky smelling lure.
don't forget the red fox urine and cat urine, many of cats have meet thier fate on this..
when i have two sets for cats ,i always use a shot of each one type at each set.now if i have a third set i use a shot of both at the third set or a shot of rabbit urine.
